Bagasse Burger Boxes – the ultimate eco-option made from natural cane fibres – simple, stylish, and compostable
Another great eco-friendly clamshell food box is the 6″ x 6″ Bagasse Domed Lid Burger Box (above right) or the larger 9” x 6” Bagasse Food Box which can also accommodate sides. Both are made from natural sugarcane fibre and are fully compostable and biodegradable. They’re heat resistant, strong and stackable, and like all of the food boxes above, are highly versatile.

EPP (Extruded Polypropylene) Food Boxes – the eco alternative to polystyrene boxes
If you were used to popular polystyrene Burger Boxes such as the HP6 there are now much more eco-friendly alternatives made from extruded polypropylene such as KP Infinity brand 6″ x 6″ HP6 Burger Box in brown or white, and larger options such as KP Infinity brand HP2 medium sized food box in white or brown. This may not sound eco-friendly but these boxes can be washed, even in the dishwasher, and reused. As they can be easily cleaned they are suitable for recycling, making them a strong eco option.
For delivery-heavy businesses, EPP can be a particularly good choice where heat retention and protection during transport are critical. They are lightweight, strong and durable, as well as stackable. Available in a wide range of sizes these strong, stackable, durable food boxes are a great all round cost-effective option.
As well as burgers, they can be used for chicken, meats, loaded fries, street foods, and sweet goods such as cakes or pastries which can mean fewer packaging lines, more flexibility, and a smoother service when things get busy.

Packaging ‘sides’ that can help elevate presentation as well as protect your food
Packaging can be elevated by pairing it with the right supporting products, making a difference to both performance and presentation. In the first image in this post you will notice that our customer has included a simple small paper chip bag inside the Premium Folding Kraft Box which they have loaded with Fried Chicken, often oil dense, and the paper chip bag makes a perfectly shaped barrier, keeping oils in and stopping any possible leakage. This 6″ x 5″ White Paper Chip Bag is also a cost-effective option for fries or sides.
